Hierarchical family tree diagram scripts

Hi, all...

My distant cousin wants to start a web site with his/our family tree, and I have not been happy with those I have seen using HTML, cgi, applets or javascript.

Does anyone know of a good java applet or javascript script for putting family trees on an HTML page which pulls info from a GEDCOM or FTM database? I thought of using one of the javascript directory trees that are already available and make one HTML page per person, but they wouldn't allow branches of other families to join up.

I guess what I am looking to have created (or to re-purpose) is an hierarchical display, such as those used to diplay chains of command and/or sub-departments in a company structure.

I could use one myself, to tell you the truth, to display my several hundred family "berries".

Any ideas? Any examples I can look at?

Replies direct to my email address would be appreciated as well...

Regards,

James C. "Jim" Lynch
