Wayne,

You missed the point of my message. I was saying that past sales is not as important as future sales. You have to take into consideration, as all business must, what resources you would have to put into a product in order for it to continue, what the market is for that product and how much you think that market will grow and what your market share is. That has to be balanced against what the future of that market will be. What technological changes might there be in it? Where else could those resources be used? There are many factors involved and my post was saying that we would not make a decision like this based solely on how well the product sold last year.
