I agree.

When I "Upgraded" last July to 3.0, my troubles began! It eventually "locked up" my UFT and I could not unlock it. My son-in-law, who knows computers, almost gave up, but fortunately was able to help me. I got a larger hard drive and was working on UFT when my #1 ancestor appeared on #3010 as the son of someone with an entirely different name!

I spent many $ talking to the techs, who had only been there a month or two. No one would give me access to Melissa Cox or Troy Engle, although I was promised each time they would have someone in California (who knew the program) to call me. No help.

I wrote the President of the company, by registered mail on March 27, and he didn't have the courtesy to answer and help solve my problem. I'm afraid to even open UFT, just in case "it" wants to rearrange my people. I do not have a virus (have Norton to check that). I have virtually been unable to do genealogy since I upgraded last July, it was the worst decision I ever made. I have owned this program since Roots III and feel used!

Did anyone ever have this problem and get it fixed?

I feel better at least getting this off my chest!
