I can understand your frustrations but I would also suggest that you probably will not get any worthwhile response from genealogy.com. I have tried to order an update of FO8.0 and after a frustrating month am told it is still on "back-order". Further, they tell me there is no intent to post a bug-fix of the Win2000 problem that will not allow me to create a gedcom on the same drive that FO is installed on. They say they will fix it in V 9.0. This is a totally unacceptable response from an outfit that is starting to look like the MS giant of the genealogy community. From what I understand, programming a decent genealogy program from scratch is not a big task for a good programmer. I think it is time to start a movement for a good open source software porgram for genealogy. Now that the genealogy.com folks own all the software programs, they are sticking it to their customers.
