To switch or not part 1

Hello all,

My previous message was not accepted because it contained wrong words? So I give it a try in parts.

Part 1: After the shock this weekend I collected some thoughts.

I am in the comfortable situation being the owner of UFT and TMG (and FTM and others). The reactions on this board and the answers are from time to time no longer polite and sometimes confusing or misleading.

First of all when ThLCom acquired Palladum it already distributed a genealogy program, Domus (ThLCom The Netherlands) sold the program “Stamboom 3” which was a translated program (French to English) and the first version of the program did not recognise gedcom! The second version of the program did recognise gedcom but did not convert databases from the first version! This what you get when a non-genealogical-minded company involves themselves with genealogy.

Kind regards
Harry
