Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Go to Search/Events
Select All Events
Under Places check Selected, click on Place Button, enter place you want to search for, click on search.
Select first event in result list. Press F8 to edit. If editing the free form date make sure you tab out of the field to update the structure and sort date. Make any editing changes you desire.
Press F4 to go to next event in list. (F3 will take you back to previous event in list). If you have made changes it will ask you if you want to save them, click on yes.

Hope this helps.

Paul L.
