G'Day Paul,
If you READ my initial message detailing my system setup, you would have seen that I have the Retail Version SHOWING on my system. However, as I explained, it is loaded over R5 and succesive upgrades to UFT 2.0 through 2.8. Furthermore, I explained I had tried BOTH ra & ua updates of the original "FIX" neither worked.
When I downloaded the NEW "FIX" I again downloaded BOTH ra & ua versions. NEITHER WORKS on MY system. Hence my latest message telling you it does NOT work "on MY system" which tells me it is the Retail Version 3:00:00 NOT the Updated version 3:01:00.
Now, in frustration, I have installed another copy of UFT3.0 on my D Drive as a clean copy and tried the latest update and it worked.
My point is, irrespective of what has been said on this board, MY system TELLS me I have the Retail copy NOT the Update and NEITHER upgrade to UFT 3.10 worked.
I hope this is clear.
Thank you for listening. Please read ALL the message and don't be so defensive. I am NOT criticising YOU. As I said in my original message, I sent my system details to ASSIST you in finding a possible cause to the problem. I repeat, "read the question before attempting to answer the exam"
