UFT demise

Al,
I've heard mixed comments about TMG. From what I saw at NGS, it has no great features that I want, and is missing some critical ones for our genealogy database, specifically multiple roles per event. I find the role label valuable when checking someones events. Quite a few of my events have a minor player (e.g. a boarder in a census or a nephew in a will) as the principal, since that is my direct family. The flexibility of event definitions in UFT, and our use of that flexibility, would make it a lot of work to move, although TMG is UFT's only competitor in my mind.
I think I will stick with UFT as long as I can. I have FTM 6.0 and found it a much inferior product for our purposes.Pierce Reid
