Using "Find" to find a place name
Posted by: Richard L. Handwerk Date: April 22, 2000 at 22:19:29

When I know the number of a place name, and then type the number in the place field of an individual record and hit "Find", I get an "Open" window, that says "Locate v_blbook.dbf", and a file listing. If I do not use the number, but type partof the name and hit "Find", everything works fine. Anyone have any idea why this is?? It is kinda convenient to use the place number, when i can remember it. Thanks!
