The .PRO file has pointers in it to the drive and directory in which the data files are stored. If you move files and the library files with your data are not in the location specified in the .PRO file, you will get "place missing" if the .PRO file is pointing to a different set of files.

I suggest that you open your project on the C drive and go to the Help menu, choose About Ultimate Family Tree, click the System Info button and then click the Library tab. This will show you what directory the .PRO file is pointing to for your library files.

If you can run the program from your zip drive and your places exist there, open that project and then the System Info window to see where those library files are located.

Once you know where your library files from the project on the zip drive are located, copy them to the location that the project on the C drive is pointing to.

Hope this makes sense. If you need more info on these instructions, please ask.
