Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I only read a comparison of it with several other programs. But just based on the comparisons, it's hard to sometimes distinguish a clear winner. It just depends how much you want to do with a program. A plus for them is they have extensive source documentation options, which I think is important. They have a website at www.legacyfamilytree.com if you haven't been there. You should be able to download a demo copy. UFT and TMG are at the top of the food chain as far as programs go, but if you don't need all their power, then Legacy and others will probably do just fine.
