Thanks Pierce and everyone else for the suggestions and information. I appreciate it. Will think about it awhile and see what happens with UFT. I am not in that big of a hurry, maybe that will work in my favor. I think the most important is the hard copy stuff anyway. I just like the PC for organizing and reports. Hope to get another program in the near future. I do like being able to share geds etc. OBTW, is there a way in UFT to share just certain families in a gedcom file, or say descendants of a certain individual? Also how about privatizing(I guess that's the word) a gedcom file. If you all can answer that I would appreciate it. This is important to me. I want a way of sharing geds but want to be able to control what I share. Thanks again. Glenn.
