Hmmm. Ok lets say it was the company formerly known as Palladium that did it. It still makes about as much sense. Surely the advertising copy isn't that old!
As I understand it, the disk was alone with no instructions, no pointers to Genealogy.com or FTM land.
When my company hands out advertising materials they are not 2nd rate goods that require fixing. Genealogy.com already has an image problem. If it wasn't them I'd have been in here long before this with a disclaimer. But then with this company's record on internal communications maybe nobody knows yet. Or maybe they have a company policy not to comment. Maybe they should sue?
UFT is still my program of choice. Genealogy.com was forced on me. I like one even with its warts and I fight for fixes and product development. I don't like or respect the other.
