Does it take an insurrection to attract genealogy.com's attention to UFT problems?

Credibility is all you have to sell right now and, quite frankly, Genealogy.com doesn't have any.

Your UFT product, while good, is broken in several ways. Previous management decisions on programing language development saved money but you lost flexibility and are beginning to lag in development. Management decisions regarding fixing old bugs or those introduced in 3.0 saved money but lost credibility. Some of us actually bought the program because it printed nice reports and made a good web page. Take those away and there are equals in the market.

Your company policy of not commenting on bugs and their planned corrections is stupid and breeds distrust. As far as we know you are never going to fix anything or continue development. In fact all signs and lack of signs point to that. Your old time users are the ones doing most of the tech support here and in the mailing list. And in case you hadn't noticed, a few of those have slipped away - some more quietly than others but the names are missed.

Who ever heard of another company telling users to use two versions to get full use of the program. What about the people who didn't have 2.8? Or those who installed over it?

Who ever heard of tech support trying to sell a user another program? Your tech support was non-existant from this users viewpoint. It may become better.

So lets hear about the UFT software engineering team, the UFT marketing team, the UFT tech support team, the new free UFT 3.1 patch, New UFT users groups forming and for God's sake get me off the FTM mailing list!
