Ultimate Family Tree Genealogy Forum
My October/November/December, Fall 1999, issue of "Genealogical Computing" (Vol. 19, No. 2) came in my mail today. Ancestry, the publisher, must be very behind, because the January/February/March 2000 issue should have been released by now. After all, this is April!
I'm writing because on the back cover is a full page advertisement reading "Experience the Ultimate Standard in genealogy data - Ultimate Family Data Library. 19 CDs featuring Passenger Lists never before available on CD-ROM. . ." etc. It goes on and on, then says, "To order and find out more about the Ultimate Family Data Library: Phone: 1-888-891-1919, E-mail: Ultimatedata@palladium.net..." etc.
We all know that the Ultimate Family Data library was abruptly discontinued a year ago, and that Palladium Interactive is no longer in the picture. What's going on with Ancestry? I hope Ancestry gets its act together when the new editor takes over this magazine for the next issue.
