Beth

I have not found the "ending punctuation box" in UFT. I also do not know what the "component text box" is. Are you using UFT or some other program?

Maybe you should use an enter key and then a leading space as the first character of the next paragraph as stated on page 63 of the UFT online users manual (which comes on the CD) states:

"Text Formatting
Formatting options instruct Ultimate Family Tree how to display and print the text in reports. You can
use the formatting buttons or type the codes in the text windows. Formatting codes are not printed in
reports.
Automatic word-wrap occurs at the end of lines unless the Enter key is used to end a line. Blank
lines are preserved in Ultimate Family Tree reports. Press the Space Bar once at the beginning of a
new paragraph to indent the first line. To have the Biography text always print as a separate paragraph,
press the Enter key before entering text and then indent the first sentence by pressing the Space Bar
before the first word.
Formatting codes appear around the selected text. For example:
[BO:This text is bold.:BO] This text is bold.
[UL:This text is underlined.:UL] This text is underlined.
[IT:This text is italicized.:IT] This text is italicized."

Maybe this will help you.
