In creating a source record, if you have two books by the same author, you get a warning message of duplicate abbreviation1 (and you can't distinguish between the two sources when viewing evidence on screen). If you "fix" this problem by say entering abbreviation1 data as "Jones MD Deaths" and "Jones MD Births" then you wind up with screwy usages in printouts.
I have opted to use this "Jones MD Deaths" approach for the practical reason that it helps me to understand things when working on the computer, but I really would like to have printouts which use these abbreviations work out properly as well.
Any suggestions?
