While online, I still have to click on each message to download it. Then, click on BACK to go back to the Index and move to the next subject. Then, click on that to download the next message, etc. When I go to File/Work Offline and then disconnect, I still have to contend with the Index. I will only be able to read those messages that I downloaded, and I still have to click on the subject to see the message itself. Then I must go back and click on the next one. This is more time consuming than ever.

With my IE4, when I go offline and click on something I had not already downloaded, I get the following message, "URL not found in Offline Mode: The URL you requested is not available offline. Internet Explorer can attempt to connect to the Internet and download the most current content. It must be configured to connect to the Internet as needed in order to succeed." The two choices on this message are 'Connect' and 'Stay offline.'

I still want the format that I had in my old digest where the full text of all the messages for the last 24-hour period appear one after the other in one document. No clicking on anything was necessary.
