Can you get more than one message opened at a time? Or do you have to open each one individually, save it, close it, and go on to the next one? Most messages are pretty short and it often takes more time just to open it than to read it. You could also quickly print long and/or complex messages rather than saving the web page.
A digest of multiple messages would still be a better option.
