Individual Text - Bio - no formatting?
Posted by: beth Date: March 26, 2000 at 06:17:45

the manual, version 3, page 60, seems to indicate that you can use the formatting buttons, whether you are entering Individual text as Biographical, Footnote or Research. I first tried entering text as Biographical, selected part of it, then clicked on the Italics button - the selected text disappeared! Is that supposed to happen? I tried the same thing in Footnote and Research mode; no problems there.

I could put the formatting codes in manually, of course, but I don't want to muck up reports by entering formatting where there is not supposed to be any.

thanks, beth
