Mousewheels can be made active in older programs (such as Foxpro 2.6) IF your mouse driver control panel has a special option for doing so. I did find, when I tried that myself, that it generated MANY interrupts on the system (I could hear popping when listening to WinAmp), and may well make UFT more likely to crash, although it didn't on my system (but again, I run NT4).
