My problem started on 1/18/2000 with message about "disordered index" in UFT 2.9. I did contact tech help, but was disappointed and somewhat confused by the answers which I have misplaced. Decided to print out what I could in Family Journal reverse register format. For three branches out of four it seemed to print to file ok and complete info on direct ancestors. However the preview button was dimmed. Sometimes F10 does not work properly. I have run Project check-repair. I do have a GED several months old. Now - should I reinstall UFT 2.9 in new location and enter the GED or should I install over the current file? I had been entering new individuals when the error message appeared.
The Library and other folders listed under UFT all show change date of the original error message. I want to save as much of my work as I can, but wonder how much is now corrupt. Will be grateful for help in figuring out what is wrong and how to correct.
