Paul - thanks for the idea about not checking “all spouse data.”
But, unfortunately, when I do that, I lose employment and residence data on the Family Journal Report (FJR).
The idea about marking the spouse-divorce as non-principal seems like the best idea. I lose the ability to see the divorce on the Individual Record window of the spouse, and I lose the divorce listing under the spouse on the Family Group Sheet [which is double reporting any]. It is worth it, for not seeing double on the FJR, which will be my primary way to share the history with family members.
