I can't THANK YOU enough!! However, it wasn't good news as you already knew. I always backed up to the zip drive and kept it seperate. It was always the same disk though and I have one other file on it so I know it isn't the disk.

I will just have to input information back into it. I thought I had a Gedcomm, but it isn't recent at all. I do have Gedcomm's of some of the parts of it though. I will input some information and then import the Gedcom's. I was already behind by months in input so I will just keep working on all of it again. I will make sure I have several backup's this time plus a few gedcomm's. I know we backed the computer up in Dec. but I guess because of space we only backed it up on the one zip drive that time. In the past we backed it up along with important files so I had two backups.

Thanks again for your prompt help!! I had a feeling it was going to be bad.

By the way I called tech support before I got a reply from you today. They suggested sending a check and the zip disk to Data Repair and see if they could salvage any of the files. Is this possible at all or would you not suggest it.

I know you work for the same company but I trust you over the people that answer that phone anyday. I get better answers from you.

Have a Great Evening and God Bless You!
