John J here again...

No, I don't have "Crashguard" just use the Dr.Watson.

I did finally get CTL-ALT-DEL to work after last crash and it said "UFT not responding" and "MSGSRV32" not responding. MSGSRV32.EXE is part of Windows 98.

Please also note I have been trying to figure out what I did different from the last time I used UFT 2.0 to upgrade 3.0. One thing was adding a scanner. I disconnected the USB scanner, reboot, etc. but system still crashes selecting FILE "EXIT".

I have tried other things like disable of Adobe Type Manager, closing down other programs on my menu tray, etc.

UFT is the only program that crashes on my computer.

I'll try the "SAFE MODE" next to see what happens.

Hey guys, thanks for all your help! I've been using computers since 1984 have 4 at home, at work I use some 10 doing various tasks. Knowledge is high, but this has me baffeled.

John J.
