Regardless of where else we disagree, this much is true:
If you instantiate a form in a foundation READ, whether it is modal or not, and have valid code associated with a field, that valid code will not fire if an ON KEY LABEL statement gets executed. This is contradictory to what one (or at least myself) would expect - when you write valid code for a field, it should fire whenever you leave the field, no matter how you leave the field, whether it is a TAB or a Hot Key action, except in the case of an ESCAPE/CANCEL action. The original ROOTS authors wrote the screens with that expectation. It has now been learned that that expectation was incorrect, but engineering time has not been assigned to the monumental task of rewriting all the valid code everywhere in UFT to account for this behavior.
How are you guys doing on the black screen / freezing problem?Oh, I forgot, foxpro doesn't have bugs, only UFT does.
