UFT 2.9 and 3.0 Limitations-Footnotes

Alton and Pierce,

I'm sorry, I didn't give you a complete explanation of how I'm generating Family Journal Reports. I use the Modified Register Style, export them in RTF Format to Word and then word process them. I convert the endnotes to footnotes and never embed citations in the text.

The main differences I have found between UFT and R4 are UFT doesn't shade or box revents, but that's not a problem as I can do it better; UFT lists descendants other spouses and I don't think I'm interested in the previous marriages of my brother's new wife; UFT doesn't always calculate ages at death as did R4; and R4 will only transferr short footnotes.

I'd like to know if there are other problems, as I don't want to word process a hundred pages of a two hundred page report and then find that there are serious problems.

Bill
