I plead fgetemp.rtf (orary) insanity on this one. Kindly disregard my previous post in this thread, for I did not read your original post closely enough.

Also, for new users of UFT, selecting Other and Wordpad does not produce the best looking Indented Descendant Reports. But selecting Other and Wordperfect and deselecting automatic launching MAY produce a suitable report that CAN BE opened in Wordpad.

Jim's original question seems to be how do I get the generation numbers without sending it directly to the printer? How about just typing them into word processor before mailing them? It won't take that long.
