From what you said I gather you are giving your computer to your husband, and want to remove UFT from it (I presume you'll install UFT on your new computer?)

Indeed, to do that you should use the uninstall program(s) in Windows. This will remove most of the stuff in the UFT directory (or whichever you use) and, more importantly, remove the stuff put in the registry relating to UFT.

After using the uninstall, look at the directory for UFT (default is C:\UFT) and delete the entire directory; there's always a bunch of stuff left over after the uninstall.

I assume you have a good backup of all your data to go onto your next machine. Be safe - make a couple of them if you are destroying it on your old machine before moving it to the new one (which I do not recommend - there's too many opportunities to go wrong in the process).
