UFT lock up when adding Media

I can add photo media to an individual. I can not add poto media to an event or place. When I click OK it gives me an operator/operand type missmatch error then the screen starts flashing and locks up and I have to reboot the computer. I have called tech support, sent data for repair, wiped out the program, reinstalled UFT and Windows 98, switched computers, and a few more things. Nothing helped. UFT tech support is clueless, does anyone else have the problem or a solution?
