Word Perfect 9 Support

I am amazed with the support that Word gets from other software producers - one of which is UFT.

I am currently a user of Word Perfect and will always be. I have used Word and consider it inferior to Word Perfect.

I now have Word Perfect 9 and would like to know if anybody knows how to make it the RFT editor.

I informed UFT support of my problem and it was acknowledged. That was over a month ago.

So I thought someone else may have had my problem and know the answer.

What follows is what I sent to UFT tech support:

I modified the PD.ini file per help instructions in UFT help to use WP9 as my rtf editor. Then, I selected WP9 as the RTF editor to print to. However, when I try to print to file, when WP9 opens I get the following error message: “cannot find or open ~getemp.rtf.”

I really need to be capable of using this UFT feature and would like to know how to make it work. WP is the only word processor that I use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From reading the bulletin board, I think that all software mfg. have been messing with their customers by turning good products bad.

The is no reason that I can think of that anyone should have several different copies of the same software on their computer just because upgrades that are not free are sometimes messed up. UFT isn't the only product with this problem.

Used to be that a good product was known by it's good customer service, which seems to have lost its true meaning.

Paul Burchfield has a lot of unhappy people to support and not one has been satisfied yet. I read every answer he gives and, to me, he sounds like a losing football couch - always talking around problems and never hitting the nail on the head.

Thank you all

John Jenks
