A couple of years ago, I used Gedcom to move such data over to Roots V (now UFT). The relationships were moved accurately. The footnotes wound up as free text as I recall, so you may have a lot of work to do in that respect. (A timely message -- I finally threw away my old Family Roots manual, etc., yesterday!)
