You are certainly having interesting things happen here! What's more intersting is that the first one went away. This suggests a very obscure bug in UFT, or a problem in your data files, but its' hard to pin down which. Regarding date entry in the Event Grid of the Individual Record, yes, you are supposed to be able to directly enter dates there, and I cannot think of why it wouldn't let you.
I can definately state that IE5 has no known bearing on the primary operations of UFT (outside of the internet-related options, of course). Of course, with any Microsoft component, and in fact with most software in general, installing other software can and will overwrite system .DLL files which may or may not be compatible with Foxpro 2.6 ; I believe we have a list somewhere of all the known culprits, but I'm sure new ones will pop up over time. IE5 and UFT3 were tested extensively, especially when I wrote that patch, and we are unaware of any UFT3 issues regarding IE5 other than those noted for online issues, which the patch addresses.
