G'Day All,
Thanks to Graeme & Maggie for their advice. I am pleased to report that I now have a fully functional copy of UFT 2.8 on my D Drive with UFT 3.0 on C Drive. ALL files. libraries, images, etc are ALL Functioning "in accordance with the manufacturers specifications" (which is more than I can say for spome parts of UFT 3.0 :-( )
Some time ago I reported that I had installed the English version UFT 2.1 on D Drive and every time I tried to open it I received the blocking message - "You can't have 2 versions of UFT at once" (or something akin to that).
WELL, I got the same message when trying to open UFT 2.8 AND UFT 3.0 (separately and with the other version closed and asleep). Then I worked out what the problem is: UFT (well My computer at least) will not allow more than one UFT to be opened from an icon on the desktop. KILL one icon and open the second (or third, or fourth - as many as I like) from Windows Explorer via the UFT...exe file and NO PROBLEMS.
Another problem solved. Perhaps this might help somebody else with a problem in opening UFT.
