How Do I Enter Alias Names?
Posted by: Michael Igoe Date: October 31, 1999 at 09:15:13

Several of my ancestors were Dutch immigrants to the New York City area during the 1600's. Perhaps for simplicity, they frequently changed the spelling of their surnames. For example, the latest spelling of the surname Van Wart appears to have evolved from Van Wert, Van Woert, and even earlier as Van Wohert. How do I enter those names as alias'? I'm using UFT v. 3.0. Thanks for any guidance.
