Hold it just a minute, please!
Somebody needs to give us precise definitions for the words "Citation" and "Source."In my understandinng, they are not the same.
A Source is the evidence or proof. It has a template. It has a Source Record where information about the source is entered, etc., etc.The source is linked when one selects it in the proof window.
A "Citation," on the other hand, is simply a place in a text window where one refers to the source. The four buttons on the bottom of a text window are Footnote, Citation, Name Index, and Place Index. One "cites" a source by clicking on the citation button there.A number is inserted at that place when the text is printed.
Now, what are we talking about here?Is the major bug in 3.0 a problem with having a citation in the text window, or is it a problem that has to do with the proof window where one gives evidence for some fact in an event?
