Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The format also does not seem to allow us to add a "link" to another web site that might have the answers to a question--i.e., RUG of Portland, OR or RUG of Arlington. That is an option that is a shame not to have.

Ruth:
I have found that the use of Copy-Cut-Paste to get a URL into the address window is not much more work than clicking on a Link. Perhaps user wishing to create such a link can point this out in the adjoining text.

Moran, John
