I've been a long time user of UFT and had this problem forever. Maybe I've just not taken the time to figure it out. UFT Tech support doesn't seem to be much help either. What I want to do is this. For instance if I have a census record for a Father, Mother, and 3 kids, I want to enter that as Evidence (or a source, or whatever). How is the best way to enter it? Then I want to "attach" it as Evidence (or a footnote). Again I'm confused on what it should be called.... :). When I print a family group sheet of this family I'd like to use the evidence of the census record, and have it show up as a "footnote". I've accomplished this in a way, but now the way I want it to work. What i'm getting is the Father, Mother and each of the 3 children have seperate footnote numbers, and then at the bottom of the sheet each number is listed seperately and the census record is listed 5 times. What I would like to have is this. Say for instance that the only piece of evidence on this sheet is the census record. The Father, Mother and each of the 3 children would have a number 1 (for a footnote), and then at the bottom of the sheet it would have the number 1 (to identify the footnote)and have the census record listed only once. Can this be done? Also I think i'm confused as to what is evidence, what is a source, what is a footnote, what is what...HELP. Really not dumb, just confused...Jim
