Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I do all my data entry with 3.0 and only use 2.8 because of two problems that affect my output. 1) The citation problem in individual text or event text in RTF output which causes the text to leave blank lines and not print all of the text if the citation is in the middle of the text (problem does not occur in 2.8). 2) Problems with endnotes generated for web pages which causes them to be all italics (again problem did not exist in 2.8). When I want to do an RTF output or create a web page, I use 2.8, otherwise I use 3.0 for everything else.
