Looks like I have it all cleared up now. The basic events BMDB are the ones that had a new principal role added. I as able to delete all of the extra roles with a high number. There were also some dup events and these I was able to delete.
The orginal file came from a RootsIII import and after that nothing was imported that was known. It had not been worked on for over a year and was thought to be ok at that time. I had moved the project folder to a new computer. Yet my backup, that I had was also bad.

(Melissa UFT is taking a heck of a hit every where. There has got to be some way to stop the bleeding. I hope your top management reads the message list and user's board. Every day must be a troubled one for you, being a old C-Soft'r.)
