The refusal of corporate UFT to respond to questions about the future of UFT is bizarre as a business practice, unless a corporate decision has already been made to totally abandon UFT. If the same type of inquiry were put to American Airlines, United Airlines, Chevrolet, Cadillac, or any of dozens of other businesses selling well-recognized services or products to the public that includes many current loyal users/owners, I'm sure the companies would give at least generic reassurance of the future of their product and service lines, even if they secretly plan to sell out to other companies. To do otherwise would stampede customers to competing brands.
I know, I know, you probably will say that corporate UFT has agreements with AA, UAL, Chevrolet, Cadillac, and the other businesses that you don't try to run their businesses and they don't try to run yours.
The bizarre tactics of corporate UFT clearly indicate that you plan to, or already have, abandoned UFT, its loyal owners/users, and the active ROOTS (now UFT) User Groups, the latter's volunteer activities being so valuable to corporate UFT as well as to program owners/users.
