Have you tried reinstalling the program? It could be that one of the program files is corrupted. Reinstall using the option to install as an update to an existing version and then choose the Typical option so that all of the pertinant files will be installed without installing over any of your data files. If you decide to use one of the other installation options, (such as installing in a separate directory or choosing the Custom installation where you choose what files to install) be sure that you uncheck all of the Library and Template files.
