I know what you mean. I used to give out helpful information over FTM's Genforum until one time I accidently found my comments indexed on one of FTM's CD's and offered for rent or sell. I was trying to help another geneologist. I no longer use Genforum. Also there was a man on the same surname file in Genforum giving out all kinds of wrong information about a family. I guess FTM indexed his comments too, and sold them. Many beginning genealogists have been sold on FTM. They fall for the free genalogy line and send in their disks with their family infomation. Don't they know FTM is selling it? Many of these beginners never get into research and spend all their time on Genforum trying to get infomation from others. I know because I used to be one until my cousin "converted" me to genealogical research and UFT. Mona May
