I don't think UFT is any different from any other product in this regard. If you take ANY product, do hours or years of entry into it, you can bet that you'll have the same problem trying to get that information out and into another program... I'm sure many here can attest to this.

I was the engineer who developed the FTM flavor of GEDCOM for UFT. In the available development time, I did the best I could to move as much information over as possible. In *many* cases, there was nowhere in FTM for the data to go... Where possible, I appended these items to the FTM's Individual Note area, but did not have the time to move every piece of data that UFT can store. And, I believe the feature is described as "Improved GEDCOM Compatibility with FTM" in the literature. If it said "Complete GEDCOM Compatibility", I could understand the confusion...
