There has been several messages on the main UFT board about GEDCOM's being sent via e-mail. The way to do this is to "ZIP" the GEDCOM messages and send them as an attachment to the e-mail message. The persn that receives the messages will need to "UNZIP" the GEDCOM in order to use the data.

The reason for this is that the e-mail system may insert extra end of line characters in the GEDCOM message which messes up the formatting of the GEDCOM.
