"I understand the GEDCOM works much better importing it FROM FTM to UFT than exporting it from UFT to FTM. Version to version of both programs also work differently. Another hint ... if you use the "Family 5.3+" option, you must make sure that the program you are exporting the gedcom TO supports GEDCOM 5.3."

I guess it works much better as you say from FTM to UFT because doing it the other way around (as the UFT program displays) is full of errors and omissions.
I have UFT 3.0 and I used the FTM format for the GEDCOM creation, and in there I selected all tags available and all events available.
I had hoped that all marriage sources would be inclusive in the GEDCOM but the @SOUR in the GEDCOM itself was nowhere to be found.
How can one get this to work?

Also, why do some text notes get picked up in the GEDCOM and in some cases others don't get picked up? Why is this happening at all?
UFT 3.0 has all my sources and text notes quite well recorded and properly entered and it appears to me to be a bug with how UFT processes the GEDCOM for FTM.
