I had previously added multiple images (TIFs) to my media library. The previous v-phbook.fpt was 23.7M in size. I recently updated all of my scanned images using a higher scan resolution and decided to completely update the media library. Part of my objective was to reduce the overall size of the media library at the same time by importing from compressed JPEG files instead of from TIF's.
I deleted all media from the library, packed the database, and then commenced to load new image files. After only 13 images, I get out-of-memory messages and can no longer add media. v-phbook.fpt is 391K, .dbf is 3.5K, and .cdx is 4.6K.
What gives here? Anyone have any suggestions?
Using UFT 3.0 on 450MHz Pentium II with plenty of memory and disk space. File has 8997 individuals.
