I am not familiar with MS Office Document Imaging, but it appears to be a means of creating a graphic image file, perhaps in *.tiff format.

MODI printer is not what you want to see as default in UFT Printer Setup... It might not hurt anything, but it won't help either... If necessary, go into XP Control Panel>Printers and Faxes, and install your regular printer driver as default. If it is an old Epson inkjet Photo Printer, capable of only printing to within .56 inches of the bottom of the page, it might give you bottom margin problems, but we can address that later.

In UFT Print Setup, check "Print to File". Then under the Print to File>File Contents, select Rich Text Format (RTF).

Select UFT Print Setup, External Support Tab. Ignore the Export Options for Microsoft Excel on the right side. On the left side select (check) Automatically Launch Editor and Microsoft Word.

Now comes the fun part: Finding winword.exe in short filename (8.3)convention on WinXP. If you have a problem with that, please refer to the thread which includes this post:10706. (Use goto box in upper right corner of this page).

If you still have questions, search this forum for the string, "winword.exe".

Hope this helps.
