Hmm.It never hurts to have a copy of FTM around for opening strange Gedcoms, printing Wall Charts, etc. FTM 10 or 11 might be the best way to go at this time - as opposed to earlier or later versions.
But with WordPerfect, you will probably have more problems getting the columns to line up properly in the report FTM calls the Outline Descendant Report than you ever will with UFT Indented Descendant Report. The approaches are somewhat different, and FTM requires a copy/paste operation.
Many long time UFT users have switched to other programs, but typically have gone to one with more power, such as TMG, rather one with less power, such as FTM.
