Something is different on this installation. The Office 10 folder holding Winword.exe doesn't even show in the UFT Editor window, not even in abbreviated format. Can't be typed in. At first it seemed too long, but that isn't likely.

This is my first attempt to find the Winword path on this XP SP-2 machine. New, just out of beta, AVG 7.0 Virus checker installed. MS Office post XP SP-2 patches. Dunno.

TMG Journal reports in both HTM and doc format open O.K. UFT reports to Wordpad.exe in "Other" open O.K..

Only thing unusual is that this version of Word 2002 came bundled in a Works package, and that might short circuit something. File associations look O.K.,and so does registry as far as my untrained eye can see. Maybe short file name conversion in Office 10 folder got short circuited by Works. That's my best guess, even if it isn't logical.

Other than the puzzlement, it is not a problem.
